I ate a bowl of cereal, and when I tried washing it, one of the hostel staff ladies shooed me away from the dishes with a large grin. Such a nice lady. The first bone quiz was a major challenge. The mix of adult and juvenile osseous material put everyone to the test in a way I and I’m certain everyone else had not faced before. Enntering the lab with nothing but a pen, we took each station in turn, 21 including the BBB (Bonus Bone for the Brave) 2 questions and with 45 seconds each. For my part, I found it to be remarkably challenging, yet not impossible. I returned with five wrong (two were minor silly mistakes I made… Coronal process instead of the Coronoid, etc). Following the first crucible, we began on dentition, and filled the day as such. A trip to Kaufland, a K Mart equivalent may have introduced some interpersonal drama to the group, although minor, and handily outweighed by the overall experience of the day and the shared measurement of the quiz. Upon returning, my roommate had left with the key, leaving me locked out of my room until Jon was kind enough to call the hostel staff, (the lady from the kitchen) who returned and let me in (Such a nice lady)
